ABOUT
The Midwest Defense Innovation Summit serves to convene individuals, entrepreneurs and organizations that are developing cutting-edge innovations with policymakers and defense leaders who are helping steer the nation's defense strategy. The summit provides an opportunity for policymakers and defense leaders to speak with industry, academic, and government organizations, big and small, to provide insight into future defense strategy.
In 2021, the Summit is being organized as a hybrid event in order to suit the needs of all interested attendees. We encourage those that are able to travel to join us in Carmel, Indiana where you can safely enjoy the top notch speakers, exhibits and networking opportunities with fellow industry leaders. The online-only option will allow interested individuals and organizations to participate in the Summit from anywhere in the world and dynamically interact with speakers and fellow attendees in real time.
After a year of virtual events and video we are eager to see everyone in person once again!

THE SUMMIT
IN PERSON
The Midwest Defense Innovation Summit will be held at the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel in Carmel, Indiana on Monday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 26.
The MDIS is working with our partners at the host hotel and in concert with local, county and state authorities to ensure a safe summit for all who choose to attend in person.
The MDIS will adhere to all local, county and state guidance with regard to the mitigation of coronavirus. Please check this website for regular updates.
There is a room block reserved for Summit attendees. You can reserve your room by clicking here, or you can reserve your room when you register for the event.
To accommodate individuals who cannot attend in person, there will be a virtual event option.
The virtual component will follow the same program as the in-person event including speakers, exhibit halls, virtual meetings with sponsors, speakers, and fellow attendees.
